Crescendo restaurant sur Chateaugiron

Live from Crescendo today... As usual, we had a wonderful meal! Starters, main courses, delicious desserts, wine, and coffee. We've been eating at your establishment regularly for over eight years! The atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming, but this lunchtime we unfortunately witnessed some very tense exchanges between the cooks. Your latest recruit seems to come from the restaurant industry; it shows; it's palpable: which is great! However, the blatant disregard shown towards his colleagues is regrettable. Let those who have ears, hear!

Friendly welcome, good selection, clean place.

Family dinner on Friday: mussels and fries. The adults were already looking forward to it, while the kids were craving pasta bolognese or pizza. Nothing fancy, but plenty of cravings. Unfortunately, Friday evening at 8 pm, despite being advertised, we didn't get any mussels! Yes, we were told we were out of mussels, we'd just sold 11!!... Wow, for a Friday at 8 pm, 11 mussels sold and that's it! 😟 It's not like it was late... And that's not all, no more steaks, ribeye, or pizza either. For the kids, no pasta bolognese or pizza. Instead, they offered pasta... with salmon and zucchini. Well, the kids didn't want the salmon and zucchini pasta! Strange... 🤔 Obviously, we left quite disappointed. We didn't really understand the choices regarding portion sizes and the options offered to children. The moral of the story is, if you want a good selection, arrive at 7 pm because 8 pm is too late, even on a Friday! On the other hand, kudos to the two people in the kitchen. There were only two of them, which doesn't seem like much for a Friday night, but they did a fantastic job and with a smile. Hats off to them both.

The mussels were a bit small, but all-you-can-eat was fine. The staff was very friendly, especially the mussel server who was always attentive to customers.

Good food at a good price, plenty of choice, relaxed atmosphere!
