Cuisine de Comptoir sur Aix-En-Provence

We ate in this very friendly small restaurant fairly near the end of Cours Mirabeau. (About 6-7 minutes walk). Lovely atmosphere and very good food

A little more than a month ago, we had lunch at this nice restaurant. It is located on a quiet plaza, not too from from Rue d' Italie. It was a nice pleasant weather day, but we preferred to sit indoors. Most people sat outside. We ordered Salmon for my wife, and some Oriental Shrimp plate for me. Both were great, simple, unpretentious food. The service was excellent, and the setting very charming. Our "Rose wine "Pichet" was a nice complement to the meal. My only objection was the "Baba au Rum" we had for dessert, it was rather old and dry. Le Miollis is the sort of place we recommend for every day meals. The bill was quite reasonable. While in Aix, any visitor will do well trying this restaurant.
