True home cooked food, amazing skills of the owner who is a lovely woman. We had the quiches slices and the quality was out of this world. Prompt service, quiche was heated the proper way (no microwave) salad was fabulous, coffee home brewed. Cannot fault this place. We will be back!

15/04/2026: Absolutely exceptional. We started with the profiteroles with Maroilles cheese. The sauce was the best Maroilles sauce we've tasted in several restaurants. Our main courses, the Flemish carbonnade and the chicken in beer sauce, were divine. If you're looking for a restaurant in Douai, look no further and head straight to Le Bistrot du Tigre – it's the best possible choice!
09/02/2026: A very good experience in every way. The owner and his wife are very friendly and manage the service expertly. The steak tartare was excellent 🤤 In short, if you're looking for a good, typical northern bistro, go for it!

Pub Brasserie le Saint Georges

20/04/2026: I contacted this establishment to organize a meal for about twenty people on a Saturday evening. From the very first phone call, the conversation with the owner was very pleasant. Five-star service, homemade cuisine, and generous portions (everything is possible: vegetarian, halal, traditional, etc.). A rare find in Douai where you feel right at home. The setting is magnificent, and the staff is very welcoming, friendly, and professional (special thanks to our waiter for the evening 😉). I wholeheartedly recommend the Saint Georges pub for a drink or a delicious meal with friends or family. Thank you again 🙏
