A true ITALIAN restaurant in the heart of Honfleur. Run by a genuine Italian couple, you'll also be served in Italian for those who struggle with French. The dishes are delicious and prepared with art and love. In over 100 cities we've visited around Europe, this is one of the best we've eaten at. If you arrive between 12:30 and 2:00 PM, it's best to make a reservation, otherwise you won't find a table. This is in August; I don't know at other times. I recommend Mr. Mario and Mrs. Monica's cuisine to everyone 🥰🥰

An Italian restaurant just the way we like them ❤️ A huge thank you to Mario and Monica for this wonderful experience! 🇮🇹✨ At your restaurant, everything begins with a warm, sincere, and attentive welcome, and continues on the plate with fresh ingredients, generous portions, and above all… a true passion for Italian cuisine! We discovered that everything is homemade, right down to the ravioli, and it shows immediately: every bite is flavorful, delicate, and has that authentic touch that makes all the difference. 😍 And then there's the time… Time to wait, yes, but above all, time to do things right. And frankly, that's an integral part of the pleasure! Carefully prepared food is something to be earned, and when the plate arrives, you immediately understand why. Good food is also about knowing how to take your time. ❤️ We also loved the impeccable organization: Madame in the kitchen, Monsieur serving, each in their respective role, with incredible attention to detail. Even the reservations are carefully planned, with tables booked at different times to ensure the kitchen and service remain perfectly managed. Such professionalism! And what can we say about the pleasure of rediscovering a truly authentic Italian experience: antipasti, primi piatti, secondi piatti… Everything is there to transport you to Italy for the duration of a meal. 🇮🇹🍝 A place where you don't just come to eat, but where you come to take your time, savor the food, share, and enjoy. The food was great, no complaints there. However, the service… Not a single smile all evening, 30 minutes to take our order, and a 25-minute wait for a charcuterie board… The main courses arrived quite quickly, though. Otherwise, the food was excellent, both in quantity and quality. But still, it was very slow at the beginning. A shame.

Delicious dinner! Simple but perfect - nothing overly fancy but the quality and freshness make this a meal to remember. The service is ‘relaxed’ so expect a bit of a wait, but the atmosphere and food was lovely so no problem enjoying a slower paced meal while on holiday!

We were passing through Honfleur and didn’t have much time, but the lovely owner squeezed us in at the last minute, and we are so grateful he could do that for us. We all ordered the lasagne, which was exceptional! Beautifully made with fresh ingredients. Top quality! The staff are warm and welcoming. There is a lovely authentic ambiance and decor. I will highly recommend to my French class when I’m back home. Merci beaucoup.

The best meal we had during out week-long stay in Honfleur. Very typical old school italian place. Very kind man is serving customer and his wife is cooking. You can see they love what they do, and you can taste it. It was crowded so we were seated almost on the road, but we did not mind as everything was very fresh and nice.

Even in tourist areas, you can find hidden gems! While looking for a restaurant for lunch, we stumbled upon this little Italian place. The menu looked appealing, and we thought, "Why not?" Well, we certainly weren't disappointed. It's truly 100% Italian cuisine: typical dishes, perfectly seasoned, delicious recipes, and top-notch service! Highly recommended!

I ate the best cannelloni of my life here, and their tiramisu is excellent! I highly recommend this place! 🤩
