Daily Café sur Valbonne

I spent over a month in France and came here a number of times during my stay, trying several different dishes. I really enjoyed the food each time, the staff are excellent and very friendly, and the setting is obviously fantastic. A lovely place to sit outside, relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Goal achieved: eating. Regarding service: a smile and friendliness would be a plus.

This is a place we've known for quite a few years now, where we're always warmly welcomed in a beautiful, unique setting, with excellent cuisine and a friendly, welcoming staff.

After being seated, we were completely ignored for quite a while. It took a long time to receive the menus, nobody asked if we wanted drinks, and even after we had decided what to order, we waited a very long time before anyone came to take our order. The issue wasn’t that the staff weren’t working hard (they clearly were). The restaurant simply doesn’t have enough employees for the number of tables they’re serving. If you’re going to seat that many guests, you need more staff. The food was okay but nothing special. The pasta was under-seasoned and I wouldn’t order it again. On the positive side, the atmosphere was lovely, which is why I’m giving 3 stars instead of less.

We ate very well, the quality of what we ate was excellent, the service was fast, and the atmosphere was very nice. The only downside is the tip requirement. It lowers the quality of the place considering how many people were there eating. In my humble opinion, they don't ask for it; you'll see that it will be given to you for the quality of your service. What a shame.

A lovely spot in the beautiful village of Valbonne, where you can eat very well, fresh food, quickly, in a friendly atmosphere, and always with a touch of holiday charm. And always at affordable prices.

We go to Valbonne twice a year for a week or two at a time. We have a coffee at this place every morning, and frequently have lunch or dinner. We go in April and October, so not peak times. The service is super friendly, often most of the same faces. The food is of a standard, it’s a tourist venue but it’s good quality with a full pizza menu and kids menu.

Fabulous place with adults or kids, excellent food, wonderful evening all around!

Nice restaurant, but no time to enjoy a leisurely aperitif, service is rushed.
