Small downside for the terrace at the side of the road which can be unpleasant in the event of heavy traffic, which was not the case when we were there.
We ended up in Faugères and Damejane by chance and the first time we only had a coffee and a glass of wine. We liked the small vaulted cellar so much that we reserved a table for lunch the next day. We were hoping to get authentic French cuisine here. We were rewarded with what we thought was a gourmet meal. The portions are not overly large, but appropriate for the price, so you could actually have a starter and dessert, which we really liked because you could really enjoy the menu. We spent almost 2 hours there. Quite long for Germans. 😉. The cellar is designed with a lot of love. Everything was very well maintained. The young lady was very welcoming. They also spoke English, so we didn't have to torture anyone with our bad French.

Petit restaurant dans la ville de Faugères à découvrir. Personnel très agréable et accueillant, des plats simples mais une cuisine raffinée et une très belle présentation. Plats à des prix incroyablement bas pour la qualité ! Je recommande vivement !
Dans ce pays où l'on aime accompagner nos repas de bons breuvages, une très belle carte des vins est proposée !
