Davisto sur Nice

We discovered this restaurant and it was pure bliss. From the service, with its lovely staff, to the delicious food. The gourmet coffee with its homemade desserts was perfection. We'll definitely be back.

Good restaurant, I slightly regretted ordering the steak. The veal starter was excellent. Very good, friendly waiter!

Excellent and hearty dish of the day (salmon) at a reasonable price, hearty and tasty pasta alla vongole, friendly and attentive service.

Excellent Italian restaurant. The ingredients are high quality, and the food is homemade. You can tell immediately when you taste the dishes. It's a very good restaurant.

Excellent Italian cuisine. Very refined and flavorful dishes. High-quality food in an elegant setting. The service, however, is average. The waiter wasn't very professional. He was nice, but he still has a lot to learn: how not to interrupt customers' conversations, how to answer customers' questions about the dishes, and how to be more cheerful, warmer, and more at ease.

I cannot speak highly enough of this hidden gem. We happened across this restaurant when my gluten intolerant wife found this on Find Me Gluten Free. The atmosphere was wonderful from the first step in, it followed through to a "you are family" treatment that led to us coming back the next night for our son's birthday. They appreciated our mixed efforts at speaking French but treated us the best anyone did all trip being Americans. The chef takes pride in his work (I saw you watching us enjoy your works Sir and I hope it adequately expressed our joy at them). The food was sensational and the birthday dessert they brought out was beyond delicious. If you are in Nice you must go to this restaurant once. I cannot imagine what the rare bad reviews are about, but they seem impossible based on the experiences we had. Thank you Davisto for feeding our two celiacs and treating us "normals" to amazing meals as well.

Very good food, generous portions, good service as always, dogs are very welcome.

Intimate restaurant away from the hustle and bustle of Nice.

A truly excellent restaurant – great food, superb service – and the set menu is incredibly good value. Highly recommended! 👍

Excellent place, the dishes are delicious and generous with impeccable service.
