De La Bouche A l'Oreille sur Clermont-Ferrand

We were passing through the area and I wanted to book for my partner's birthday. What to say? The truffades were okay although we don't have a comparison because it was our first time. I was still expecting potatoes to be cooked a little to smother them and not just cut into slices and cooked in a pan. The frog legs weren't bad but were a little undercooked, only the breading was golden. The waitress made us feel welcome as we were seated inside; what a mistake! The boss who I think is also the husband of the waitress and alone in the kitchen; we can hear him moaning; muttering in his kitchen... he bitches at his wife in front of us; complains that he has 6 customers including 6 different dishes... we were really pissing him off! In short... We didn't feel comfortable at all... Great for a birthday! Fortunately the waitress gave us a small discount because she served us the frog legs without accompaniment.

While passing through Clermont Ferrand we had dinner at this restaurant. Fresh products home cooking I recommend it if you are in the region you will not be disappointed. Hearty and very good

The place and the service are very pleasant. Unfortunately, we were a little disappointed by the dishes: namely the homemade Pounti, the truffade and the aligot. Not that they were bad, but we found it lacking in flavor, compared to other places we've had traditional dishes.

Le lieu et le service sont très agréables. Malheureusement, nous avons été un peu déçus par les plats : à savoir le Pounti maison, la truffade et l'aligot. Non pas qu'ils étaient mauvais, mais nous avons trouvé que cela manquait de saveur, comparés à d'autres endroits où nous avons mangé des plats traditionnels.

Delicious! Local food, cooked perfectly. We are a family of four. We all had different dishes. Everything was absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend. Highlights were the pounti, the truffade, trout, burgers and the chips!!!!

One of my favorite places in Clermont, I often bring friends to discover the local cuisine. Everything is very good at very fair prices, don't hesitate to book!

We ate very well, typical Auvergne meals, the welcome is very pleasant, if you are looking for a nice and quiet place to eat well I highly recommend this place! Thank you thank you and thank you again for this good time.

Restaurant a little outside the hyper center. Probably not from those who leave mixed reviews. For us, it was perfect: home-cooked food and service by the owners. We ate good Auvergne cuisine in a cozy atmosphere. I recommend.
