Passing through Chartres, and being regular Del Arte customers, we came for dinner with friends. The restaurant was practically empty, no wait at the counter, but a very long wait to get the menus... Then a very long wait to order... Then a very long wait between drinks and food!
The waiter forgot that the customer is king: it wasn't possible to remove an ingredient from a pizza or chocolate sauce from an ice cream... Nothing on the menu was changed, but for an extra charge you could add it! 🤣🤣 We had to explain to him that irony isn't necessarily the best way to get out of a customer's remark! The service needs improvement!
We had a good laugh about this whole situation amongst ourselves because we had come to relax!

Passing through Chartres, we stopped here and it was very good, as usual at Del Arte. Special mention to Cindy, our smiling waitress, who was fantastic 👍👌

I went out to eat tonight with my girlfriend. We had Olivier as our waiter, a very friendly, dynamic, and smiling person. We wanted to have a good evening, and with Olivier as our waiter, the evening was a success. Also, congratulations to the kitchen: very good roasted Camembert, very good pizza, and the dessert was excellent too!

Now this is a find!
We had been expecting to eat at our hotel, but it was a fete nationale, so no food... again.
So the hotel suggested Del Arte.
The place has good parking and is accessible for wheelchair users.
The food was very nice and not over priced, although a beer remains dear.
Service was quick and efficient.
Now we know we'll eat here again and look for others.

I highly recommend the Dell’Arte restaurant in Chartres. The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly.

Quick and easy service with several menus.
Very good restaurant despite an issue with the waiter who took his brushes out of the menus.

Italian restaurant, spaghetti bolognese is a perfect dish, with parmesan cheese. And a glass of white wine. Service I've experienced before at other Del Arte restaurants. Dishes that are always a hit with the kids, even at home.

I went to eat with my partner around 10pm, we were still served and the waitress was very welcoming, very good service, clean restaurant, I recommend this establishment without hesitation.
