Derriere sur Metz

Le lieu et sympa cosy, le dressage des tables est beau dommage qu il y est pas des serviettes en tissus. Les plats sont bien présentés, il y a de bonnes saveurs, les quantités sont suffisantes sur le menu de 6 plats, peut être un peu juste pour les 4. Dommage aussi que les serveurs ne soient pas tous habillés avec la même tenue.

We went there for a weekday lunch. The lunch menu is simply excellent and very inexpensive! The service is absolutely remarkable, with kindness and gentleness. The wine by the glass was also very good. All this in an elegant and warm setting. We will come back with great pleasure. A great culinary discovery in Metz.

It was very good. However, I must point out that the accompaniments of the dish were cold and the dish itself a little "mean" in quantity. We didn't have a menu, just a main course and a dessert.

Perfect from start to finish, fine and excellent cuisine, full of taste

An incredible romantic dinner for my birthday. Booked at the last moment via telephone (9:30 p.m.), the butler and his team were able to meet our requirements (madame menu without fish, change of table etc.) with all the professionalism that one can expect from a great restaurant. Relevant advice on food-drink pairings, discretion and efficiency, excellent service. As for the kitchen, we opted for the 5-course menu improvised by the Chef, with no regrets. In my opinion, the Chef and the establishment fully deserve their star (I have been a chef myself for 15 years): the siphon morel Jerusalem artichoke risotto was excellent, the grilled Wagyu fillet and braised andives, enoki, meat juice and Wagyu fat from barrel a dish that remains in our tasty memories and mastered to perfection, the mango-passion glazed marshmallow dessert, blackcurrant biscuit left my partner and myself on a beautiful note of sweetness which concluded this moment at the magical restaurant "Dérrière" from start to finish. We will therefore come back as soon as we return to Metz. Thanks to the whole team.

Very pretty setting. Attentive service even if still a little approximate. A certain originality in the dishes. In short, a good time.

The basement is not very Cosy. Staff is very friendly and even spoke English very well. Pizzas were nice

Dîner dans la rue… ce n’était peut-être pas le bon choix… Très bons plats du début à la fin pour le menu surprise. Les vins d’accompagnement n’étaient pas forcément adaptés (c’est une affaire de goût). Amabilité et qualité de service sont au rendez-vous. Belle destination, belle cuisine.
