I've been going to Le Diplomate from time to time for years, either for afternoon tea or lunch. My last few lunch visits were particularly memorable because it had been a very long time since a dish had so delighted my taste buds; it was truly excellent, and I have wonderful memories of it. My compliments to the chef. The service itself is always excellent as well. The only criticism I could make (which isn't really one) is that I wish they would open for dinner.

Excellent restaurant, the food is delicious. The welcome is warm, the staff are very professional and diplomatic, to say the least 😁. I recommend it 100%. If I'm ever back in the area, this is where I'll eat. Thanks egay for the wine recommendations. 😉

24/05/2026: We had a wonderful time; the welcome was warm, the room magnificent and very well-equipped. The charm of the place is an added bonus. We had a very good dinner at the restaurant in a splendid setting.
24/05/2026: We walked past without having made a reservation, but luckily managed to get the last table. A very warm welcome in a beautiful setting; we enjoyed eating outside in the courtyard. We found the price-quality ratio to be highly recommended. We also had to choose our dessert immediately, but didn't find this a problem at all. We will definitely be back.

18/03/2026: I miss the days of Rosalie. Everything has gone up in price and down in quantity… For example, the frog legs as a starter used to be around €15 for a good portion; now there are two choices, one for the starter and one for the main course. The starter is roughly the same price with half the number of frog legs. And the main course has gone up to over €20… and is often overcooked… What a shame
07/03/2026: The meat was overcooked and of poor quality. The service was quick, but apart from one of the waitresses, the others weren't very professional. Scallops were served instead of the scallops we ordered. We knew this restaurant from previous visits and were disappointed. Poor value for money. It's very expensive!
