Domaine de Presle sur Distre

I highly recommend Domaine de Presle. We booked the entire estate for our wedding. The venue is truly magical: a charming little château in a lovely flower-filled courtyard, surrounded by a delightful park with a pond where you'll find ponies, goats, ducks, and ducklings. The château's bedrooms are very cute, the decor is exquisite, and the bridal suite is perfect for taking beautiful photos during the bride's preparations and for the wedding night. The other rooms outside the château were also a big hit with our guests, and we appreciated the convenience of being able to accommodate up to 70 people on-site. The reception hall is full of charm with its white stone walls and exposed beams. From a service perspective, we received exceptional support: we were given excellent advice on finding competent vendors, and the team welcomed us and managed the logistics with all the vendors involved in our wedding. They had a solution for every problem and were very accommodating. Getting married in the spring, with no guarantee of good weather, we had planned an indoor cocktail reception, but given the glorious sunshine, the team adapted and offered us an outdoor reception, decided that very morning. The Domaine's restaurant prepared a delicious meal for our guests, and the service was impeccable, always delivered with a smile and in a cheerful atmosphere. Thank you to the entire team at Domaine de Presle for contributing so much to making our wedding the moment we had dreamed of.

Very pleasant hotel, very welcoming, quiet.

A unique setting in Saumur... even with the dual carriageway nearby... you'll find an extraordinary peaceful space... a courteous and discreet welcome... the hotel offers rooms in the castle: the understated charm of the old, and Terrace rooms: you can park nearby. The Gypsy Caravans: a picturesque night in the middle of a very quiet, wooded park. The restaurant offers exceptional menus at reasonable prices... you can even land your helicopter in front of the restaurant if you wish... You can also hold your seminars here; two rooms are available with catering. For your wedding (request a quote), a team attentive to your wishes will be happy to assist you. I highly recommend it.

A superb place to stay, just before Saumur. The rooms are very nice with excellent service; I highly recommend it.

We received a very warm welcome at the hotel at 3:45 pm, where we were given invitations to visit the Ladubay cellars, a visit we thoroughly enjoyed. The room was very spacious, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom also very spacious with all amenities and thick towels. Dinner at the estate restaurant: There were two choices for each course (starter, main, and dessert), and everything was delicious and refined. Thank you to the chef for his thoughtful touches regarding my pregnancy-related dietary needs. The waiters were also very attentive. The hotel breakfast was simple but offered quality products. Thank you for bringing unsweetened cocoa to the restaurant (for diabetics), which was a lovely gesture! We would gladly recommend this establishment.
