The place is still as welcoming and intimate as ever. I don't know if it was a one-off problem in the kitchen, but 3 hours for a 5-course dinner, excluding aperitifs, slightly diminishes the enjoyment of the meal.

We had an unforgettable experience during our short stay, punctuated by an exceptional gastronomic dinner thanks to the chef's inventiveness and the professionalism of the staff.

A timeless place immersed in a truly rejuvenating atmosphere. The decor is very well thought out and the place is sumptuous. The rooms are beautifully designed, as is the rest of the hotel. Two very professional and pleasant receptionists (a man in a beige suit and a woman in a navy/black suit with her hair in a bun) were present, while the others were rather reserved and rushed. A few minor drawbacks: - It took 10-15 minutes in the patio for our order to be taken (nothing serious, but something to improve for a 4-star hotel). - The 1635 restaurant's tarpaulin was dirty (again, winter and bad weather are perfectly understandable, but the advertised experience includes cleanliness; the marks, surely from bird droppings, don't enhance the experience). A MAJOR DRAWBACK: the price of the 1635 restaurant!! €130 for two people. A bowl of mushroom soup with a few pieces of chestnut, then a piece of raclette cheese—enough for small to medium eaters, but not enough for others. A dozen gherkins and a dozen pieces of mushrooms. A few pickles and a 200g platter of charcuterie, by the looks of it. Finally, dessert: a simple nougat glacé, frankly nothing special. We didn't understand the price and found it far above what it should be. The ingredients were undoubtedly of good quality, but a bill of €130 without drinks was more than surprising. We're talking about raclette, an experience that should be convivial and affordable; this price for this kind of meal is outrageous. It would be good to inform customers that this is the price, because for what was offered, €65 seemed reasonable for two people, not just one. (The person who took the reservation quoted a price of €65 for the restaurant after we told them there were two of us…) We have to admit that this disappointment when it came time to pay upon our departure significantly marred our experience. However, the service at breakfast was exemplary. The staff were welcoming and smiling, and the buffet was comprehensive and appetizing. Overall, the place is quite up to standard, but as for the restaurant and the raclette, it's best to choose other restaurants where, I hope, the price is reasonable.

The massage at the spa in the dungeon by Yasmine and Anne was incredible. A blend of techniques for a deep tissue massage and guaranteed relaxation. I highly recommend it. Clearly our best massage in a long time!

This hotel is a real gem. The location is ideal, with breathtaking views of the cliffs of Étretat. The staff is incredibly warm and attentive, the breakfast is divine with homemade products, and the escape game is fantastic for couples. In short, everything is perfect. Thank you for this wonderful stay.
