17/04/2026: We had a wonderful time overlooking the sea, the meal was delicious and the interactions with the staff were very pleasant.

17/04/2026: We had an excellent dish of salmon with vegetables ("croustillant de saumon"). Considering the incredible location, the quality of the food and the reasonable pricing, it's a definitive thumbs up restaurant.

25/02/2026: Friendly owner, cozy and calm atmosphere, like a grandma and grandpa's house, "made in China." Plenty of dishes unless you have a big appetite. Prices are average for Étretat. Drawbacks: the lemongrass shavings in the dish (they're like wood and very hard to remove), good quality beef but no flavor, and undercooked rice. A shame, it didn't live up to the authenticity mentioned in other reviews. Fortunately, the place is quite charming and very well located. Finally, kudos to the charming owner for his kindness; he deserves the two stars.

24/02/2026: I was very disappointed by this restaurant. The beef chop suey was truly inedible. The portion was very small for 15 euros, and the taste seemed questionable, with a slightly off smell. It was difficult to swallow. After the meal, I felt very unwell (nausea and digestive problems). The stir-fried noodles with beef had practically no flavor, and the meat didn't seem fresh, with a strong smell of meat that had been stored for too long. Aside from the owner, a very kind and helpful elderly gentleman, and the proximity to Étretat, I unfortunately see no positive points. It had been a long time since I had eaten such bad Vietnamese food. Honestly, I absolutely don't understand the 4.6 rating.

14/04/2026: The staff was pleasant. However, the food was of mediocre quality, and hygiene was completely disregarded, as the staff member was working without gloves and shaking hands with customers. Finally, I ordered a two-meat taco and a one-meat taco with two drinks, and it came to €31.50!! Which is excessive in my opinion.

06/04/2026: When you go to Etretat, you absolutely must try the döner kebab there. It was generously filled and delicious, and the price-performance ratio was excellent. It was also clean. Thank you, Master Veysel, everything was wonderful 🙏🙏🤗

13/04/2026: We're not fussy, but there's a limit! No heating, and the staff were dressed like they were in a garden! No effort whatsoever in the food (they were clearly not professionals)!

25/12/2025: A very pretty town, the Casino has a nice view facing the sea with gaming machines for all audiences and a very warm welcome from the staff, well done to the whole team.

23/12/2025: I've rarely seen management eat during lunch, especially since there's only one server for both the bar and the restaurant. The management of the place is surprising; I rarely see staff or management eating during service. People often eat before or after lunch, which creates a bad impression.

05/01/2026: Hello, I travel often and regularly stay in much better hotels for significantly less money. Here, €111 a night for a double room that looks nothing like the photos in the listing. The room is ridiculously small, the advertised desk is nonexistent, and the visuals are clearly misleading. Then comes the litany of extra charges: – €15 for parking for ONE night, even though the parking lot is advertised as being 800 meters away (false information) – and the icing on the cake: a €200 security deposit, as if we were staying in a luxury hotel… when everything is falling apart. In reality: • wobbly shower holder • shower head that doesn't stay in place • poorly soundproofed room, but the bedding isn't bad • low-end amenities at a premium price • €13 breakfast, not all-you-can-eat and not good quality… at most €6 worth. But the most shocking thing is the charge for stained sheets. So, to be clear: what does a woman who's menstruating do? Do we charge her? Do we make the customer feel guilty? It's shameful, archaic, and utterly disrespectful. Yes, the hotel is well located. But location doesn't justify everything, and certainly not: • lies, • abusive practices, • and contempt for the customer. Honestly, I hope this review will be your last in 2026 before you go bankrupt. At some point, you have to change careers. You have an establishment that many would dream of owning: learn to manage it, respect your customers, and maybe the ratings will follow. For my part, I made the mistake of booking too quickly without reading the reviews. Mistake corrected. This hotel has been permanently crossed off my list and propelled into my top two most shameful hotels I've ever stayed in, right behind the one with the cockroaches… (but at least that one cost €68 a night, so it was honest). Avoid it at all costs. Go away.
