22/04/2026: The food is delicious. We tried the escargots and the entrecôte; the latter was cooked to perfection, the wood-fired touch giving it an exquisite flavor. They don't take reservations, so the line is usually long, but it's worth the wait. The prices are reasonable—not cheap, but not too expensive either.

18/04/2026: We had a really great dinner here, traditional french food, very delicious, we took three menus with fish, pork and lamb, they all were exquisite. The atmosphere was cozy, very home like and the server was very attentive. We really enjoyed our evening in this restaurant and would love to come back again!

14/04/2026: Absolutely wonderful, a pure delight!! Everything was perfect... Pasta, burger, pizza, wine, dessert, coffee ☕️. Everything is refined, homemade, it's true gastronomy with quality ingredients cooked with skill!!!

12/05/2026: I ordered a salmon and goat cheese crepe with salad and a crepe flambéed with Calvados, all for €22.20. The salad portion was a bit disappointing. Overall, it wasn't bad, but it seemed a little expensive.

12/05/2026: This is the most disappointing galette I've ever tasted. It's heavy, tasteless, and the butter is practically undetectable. It's the first time I haven't finished a galette.

25/04/2026: Passing through Étretat, we booked a table at this restaurant a few weeks ago. We were returning from vacation, and it was the only restaurant we wanted to try. It's best to book in advance, as the restaurant is very popular. We received a very warm welcome. We were served promptly. I really appreciated being offered still or sparkling water, either by the carafe or in a bottle of Evian. Very few restaurants do this; usually, it's just bottled water. The Chablis was excellent. We were with our child, who thoroughly enjoyed everything from the main course to dessert. We ordered fish (sea bass fillet and trout), and it was superb, as were the vegetables. The desserts were very good. Special mention goes to the French toast-style brioche with salted caramel. I understand the coffee was also excellent. The restrooms are clean, which is important. If you're visiting Étretat, I highly recommend Le Bistretatais. You'll receive a very warm welcome and enjoy a delicious meal. We prefer this type of restaurant and always avoid those located directly on the seafront, which are mostly tourist traps that rely solely on their location. Special mention for the ride ticket. We appreciated this thoughtful touch.

30/04/2026: We highly recommend this restaurant, especially for discerning palates. We went as a family and had a table with a sea view. The decor is simple yet tasteful. The service is excellent, and the staff is attentive and available. The menu is seasonal, with a wide selection of seafood and high-quality cuisine. We opted for the "Oyster" menu, where everyone was able to delight their taste buds: from amazing burrata and oysters to Angus beef with pepper sauce, cod delicately accompanied by spring vegetables and a perfectly balanced homemade basil, poultry with foie gras sauce and a perfect chanterelle risotto, and a truly divine mille-feuille! There's something for everyone on the drinks menu, which offers a judiciously diverse selection. We had a lovely time and had visited before with the same positive impression. Enjoy your meal!
