Dong Tam ou Panda Belleville sur Paris

A great spot in Belleville for Chinese food. I tried several dishes and everything was delicious, with flavorful cuisine, generous portions, and excellent value. The flavors are spot on, the ingredients seem fresh, and the service is quick despite the crowds. The atmosphere is simple and authentic, which adds to the charm of the place. I highly recommend it and will gladly return.

Best Banh Mi in Paris! Good quality, good price, fantastic taste! Grab one for take away and eat it at the Canal Saint-Martin.

The front room where there are a couple tables has AC! Otherwise my regular place in Belleville for Bahn mi, my favorite I have not seen at other Bahn mi places which is mixed pork meatballs with black mushrooms and a hint of tomato sauce. Reasonable price even if on slightly higher end. Sundays it can be busy so be prepared to wait but worth. Good quantity of carrots and mayo.

Having been to Banh Mi in the 13th arrondissement for a while, I came to try this place after seeing an influencer video. The price already seemed way too high: €6.50 for a maxi (double the price listed on this Google page; the price of carrots hasn't doubled, nor have the employees' wages). Judging by the banh mi itself, it's obviously not up to the standard of what's sold in Vietnam, but it does have originality, being offered with a kind of boneless ham hock, like some places do in Vietnam for the "Special" version. I'm still looking for a banh mi with liver pâté like they have back home. The meat is quite generous, but the shredded chicken adds nothing. There are plenty of pickled carrots, but not enough pickled daikon radish. The servers are friendly, but they do remind you that there's a 50-cent surcharge for eating in instead of taking away. In the end, a good banh mi in the upper average range without being incredible, apparently the veggie version is popular but not tested.

Unbeatable value for money for banh mi

I had the fried rice with crispy chicken. It was absolutely delicious. I think it's even one of my favorite places in Paris. The staff is also very friendly, and the menu offers a wide variety of choices.
