This restaurant was an unexpected delight - booked at the last moment on the premise of an interesting menu and the prospect of genuine French cuisine as opposed to a tourist trap.

And the food and service lived up to the promise - super friendly staff, such fresh ingredients and generous portions! Had the burratina tart to start which was served on a tasty cake-like bed of bread. Followed by an amazing cod dish with a really flavoursome putanesca (tomato based) sauce. Very reasonably priced and a very relaxed atmosphere - like we were in a comfortable living room that happened to be a restaurant. Will definitely visit again when in Aix-en-Provence!

Very nice hidden restaurant with a very good menu. The service is outstanding. Unfortunately, sitting outside isn't that nice. The boss speaks English very well. Our dessert was outstanding. Overall, a very successful evening

A superb little restaurant hidden in a very small alley. The dishes are superb in decoration and taste and very surprising. Very good wine. Prices are linked to the quality of the food.
You can go there for work or as a couple.

I tasted the cod with puttanesca sauce and tried the Faisselle, a typical Provencal dessert made with goat's ricotta. I really enjoyed the welcome. Well done, congratulations.

Great discovery on a quiet side street. The food was excellent, creative, and artistically plated. It was the perfect meal for our last night in Aix. Our thanks to all at Drole d’Entroit for making us feel so welcome

Siamo stati accolti molto amichevolmente da tutto il personale che ci è venuto incontro anche con la lingua. Piatti abbondanti, menù con poca scelta ma tanta qualità. Conto un po’ salato ma in linea con i prezzi di Aix en Provence.

Food was good but a bit overpriced for what it was. Ordered 2 cocktails, a fish terrine, zucchini tartare and the vegetable plate and spent $150 CAD. Nothing was bad just weird food combinations, service was good, and friendly to translate to English. They also charged us $13 EURO for a bottle of tap water, which we thought was insane!

Ce restaurant dans une rue perdue avec petite terrasse grande table à l'intérieur, propose une ardoise avec qq plats et entrées, desserts uniquement à la carte. Carte des vins basiques mais très onéreuses. Et qq pichets de vin.Une assiette végétarienne décevante deux légumes grillés, Tartare de saumon bon pas très copieux, desserts moyen, mousse pistache sans saveur .Compter 40€/ personne.
