We stumbled upon this brasserie for lunch one day, and what a wonderful experience! The daily specials were delicious, and it was truly authentic cuisine. Everything was fresh, homemade, and expertly prepared. A special mention goes to the French toast, which was simply divine. The woman who served us was very pleasant and welcoming. The decor enhances this convivial atmosphere.

A wonderful discovery! Homemade cuisine, the chef is absolutely top-notch, from appetizer to dessert everything was excellent, perfect. The service was also excellent. I highly recommend it, thank you for this delicious meal.

A real favorite! The Du Nord au Sud restaurant in Montauban lives up to its name: generous, flavorful, and characterful cuisine. A light but indulgent seasonal starter, followed by the duck breast, cooked to perfection, tender and fragrant, accompanied by flavorful homemade side dishes. The welcome is warm and attentive without being over the top; you quickly feel at home. And finally, the desserts alone are worth the detour—as beautiful as they are delicious. A wonderful Montauban address to recommend without hesitation! A big thank you, don't change a thing!

25/11/2025: It is elegant nice and clean space, with friendly owners, speaking English:) and food is amazing. I do not know how do they do that but they do it really nice - a combination of exceptional taste of local products and bueatufully served dishes.

La Pataterie

15/02/2026: Very disappointed and unhappy: my steak was spoiled (the taste and smell were undeniable). I pointed this out to the waitress by having her smell the meat. The manager's response was: "Impossible, it's frozen meat." As if it were impossible that it could have been frozen after it had already expired or that the cold chain had been broken. She didn't even come over, no gesture of goodwill, but that's beside the point. What bothers me is that she didn't even acknowledge the problem. If she smelled the meat and wasn't acting in bad faith, it was undeniable. So, if you value your health, avoid this place! It's a shame because the restaurant is nice and the waiters and waitresses are very pleasant.
15/02/2026: Hello, we ate there as a party of three, including one child. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! We weren't disappointed with this new style of Pataterie ☺️☺️
