We had a surreal experience yesterday at Dupont's, a complete and utter mess. We ordered a hot drink and a mint tea; the atmosphere was tense, and the young waitress was unpleasant and irritated. The drinks finally arrived after an order was mistakenly placed with hot drinks and no ice. We pointed this out, and she curtly replied that she was out of ice. The next table received their drinks, and they had plenty of ice—magic! The least they could do is treat the customer with respect and courtesy; otherwise, they should find another line of work. Afterwards, they were handing out menus to customers and then coming back to tell them they were closed. This establishment is located on the main square, and it was 6 PM—strange, isn't it? In short, this is a place to avoid, as the one in Cabourg isn't any better.

It's lovely to have breakfast in this tea room! The croissant could be crispier, but the eggs and the traditional bread were perfect! The freshly squeezed orange juice is always a nice touch. I would say that, depending on the day, the service can be more or less slow, even when it's not necessarily busier, which is a shame.

Having returned to this salon eight days ago, because a sunny table was waiting for us, we were pleasantly surprised by a welcoming, smiling young woman, delicious chocolates and cakes. Thanks to her, I'm revising my previous review. We were very disappointed, and I expressed my disappointment: long waits, poor service, more waiting, and poor customer management. In the end, we left. This time, none of that. The young woman was kind and greeted customers with courteous words, which is exactly what we appreciate. Thank you, Mademoiselle.
