31/05/2026: An absolutely remarkable lunch at Chez Fonfon in Marseille!
We started with magnificent oysters, impeccably fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with marine flavors.
The bouillabaisse that followed was simply exceptional: generous, authentic, prepared with remarkably high-quality ingredients, and served according to Marseilles tradition. Without a doubt, one of the best we've ever had the pleasure of tasting.
The entire meal was enhanced by an excellent wine, recommended with great expertise and perfectly paired with the dishes.
The restaurant's atmosphere is elegant, warm, and typically Mediterranean. The service is attentive, efficient, and incredibly friendly.
A must-visit in Marseille for all lovers of fine food and seafood. We will definitely be back!

Accessed by stairs, the dining room, decorated in shades of blue, immediately evokes the Mediterranean. The bouillabaisse is served according to time-honored traditions, with fresh fish, a golden broth, and homemade rouille—a truly authentic culinary experience. The service is meticulous and attentive, and the view of the small fishing port is enchanting. Be prepared to spend a considerable amount; bouillabaisse remains an exceptional dish at an exceptional price. Reservations are essential.
