The atmosphere is nice, the service is fast, and the staff are polite. They also have a wide variety of menu options. The food we had was really delicious too. The homemade ice teas and dak gangjeong varieties are definitely worth trying. The only negative thing I can say is that the toilets aren’t very clean.

I love the quiet neighboorhood this restaurant is in. The staff welcomed us very friendly and even recognised us after just one visit. The food is very good, just the fried chicken can be a bit dry sometimes.

Friendly service, high-quality and generous portions. We had made a reservation so we could be seated where we preferred. We ordered pork ramen, bibimbap, and vegetable tempura. Highly recommended!

07/04/2026: We've been to Umami several times now – both for lunch and dinner – and it's been absolutely fantastic every time. For a Michelin-starred restaurant, the value for money is truly outstanding. The concept is deliberately minimalist: a fixed menu (vegetarian or classic options), hardly any substitutions, and a small team with just one person in the front of house and one in the kitchen. But that's precisely what makes it so charming. The quality of the dishes is consistently very high, without any unnecessary frills. You definitely leave satisfied and don't feel like you've only eaten tiny portions. Worth a visit every time – highly recommended!
