We were seated very quickly despite the crowd, the food was excellent, and the service was very fast! The portions were quite large too, which was great. Plus, the service was excellent; the waitresses were very pleasant and attentive!

The menu is extensive, seemingly covering all Asian cuisines. The food is excellent, the portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and there's plenty of seating. It's a fantastic place; I'll be inviting you there regularly until I've tried everything on the menu.

Having been regulars for several years, enjoying the terrace and delicious food at this restaurant, we're never disappointed! The dishes are consistently excellent and always top-notch, with friendly and efficient service. We highly recommend it, whether for a quick visit or as a regular!

I discovered the restaurant on Grand Rue and I really loved it! The one in Krutenau is pretty much the same, except for a few dishes that are only available at one location and not the other. The decor is still lovely, but the service is a bit slower here! Be sure to book in advance! A big plus: the vegetarian options are excellent! You can really enjoy a delicious meal without having to settle for just a small salad.

13/09/2026: We had a wonderful time; the quality of the food was incredible. The flavors were bold with a touch of something different—everything was truly excellent. The service was perfect, both in terms of timing and the warm welcome. I highly recommend Umami.
27/07/2026: We had an absolutely exceptional culinary experience (July 19, 2026). Each dish was a true journey, with unique, perfectly balanced, and exquisitely refined flavors. The quality of the ingredients, as well as the expertise and passion of Chef René (who runs the kitchen single-handedly), were immediately apparent. Jessica's welcome was warm, the service attentive, and the ambiance refined, making the experience even more enjoyable. Without hesitation, this is the best restaurant we have discovered to date. Umami is a must-visit, one we wholeheartedly recommend and where we will return with the greatest pleasure. Bravo and thank you to Jessica and René for this magnificent experience.
