El Quetzal sur Gap

Are you looking for a pleasant time in an LGBT+ bar, to meet nice people easily? This is the right place! Very masculine LGBT+ clientele, 30+, cool Parisian (yes!)... and international! Always crowded (outside and inside). Fortunately the Quetzal - one of the oldest gay bars in Paris - is holding up well! Great decor with old movie posters. Pinball machines at the bottom. Happy hour until midnight. €5 for a blond draft beer. I always had a good welcome and had good times. Contrary to what I have read, professional waiters, the most handsome and smiling - especially Raul, and Thiago, a ray of Brazilian sunshine.

The place is nice and has good music, the atmosphere is lively.

Great crowd, very friendly service, a fun local bar with a great community vibe. Sadly there was something very wrong with the sound system when we visited, a busy Saturday night with a dj playing a party set, but the speakers cut out 10-20 times every song for the whole evening. The staff and the dj didn’t notice, or maybe this is normal. Very hard to enjoy the music when it keeps disappearing.

Fun simple uncomplicated spot best for outdoor corner cocktails and people watching.

My husband and I always come to this bar to start or end our day. The prices are reasonable. The toilets on the 1st floor are very well designed.
