Elio's Ristorante sur Bordeaux

Always excellent! Sardinian cuisine and wines in Bordeaux, what a treat. Save room for ice cream, the pot to share is so regressive.

Very good restaurant, the dishes are good and the atmosphere is friendly. The service was very good. Good value for money, I recommend!!

Despite a full display, the adorable waiter found us a typical little corner sitting under the fireplace. Atmosphere like home for a cuisine to die for. Luckily we were seated! Excellent value for money, don't hesitate to share the dishes.

We had disappointing lobster tagliatelle. Very bland and little actual lobster. The rest of the dishes were ok but nothing special...The wine was horrible as well.

A must in Bordeaux. It had been recommended to me a thousand times. A truly excellent restaurant. Impeccable service. And a kitchen... to die for. We had a blast. It was filling and absolutely delicious. 2 services: 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Reservations strongly recommended (because we are not the only ones who appreciate it ;)

Hearty meal from starter to main course to dessert. For big eaters, go for the cured meat platter to share as a starter (beef, Iberian pig, wild boar and kid). We fell in love with the sauces for pasta dishes that are simply sublime! +1 for the energy and good humor of the server, all sprinkled with the Bordeaux setting

This was the site of a bit of a family reunion: my wife’s nephew and his fiançé had recently moved to Bordeaux for work, and our nephew’s mother and husband had driven up from Malaga to see them for the Easter weekend. So it was a special occasion for all of us. The décor in this restaurant hinted at roots in the 19th century. The walls and ceilings featured massive wooden beams and the tables reminded me of picnic tables back in Canada. To be honest, I was utterly confused by the menu as it used fancy expressions to describe Italian fare. After some deliberation among us, we opted to share four dishes as the servings were large: our nephew and his fiançé had already dined there. The quantities were perfect although the quality of the food was a little average. We had expected something more flavourful in a place this fancy.

Excellent restaurant, service sympathique. Le menu 3 plats et dessert tiramisu pour 23 euros, c’est un rapport qualité prix imbattable. Je n’ai pour ma part pas aimé le parmesan brebis, mais j ai été bien conseillée.
