We go there from time to time; we're from the big city of Strasbourg, We're city dwellers. The young staff is always very welcoming. The cuisine introduces us to ephemeral tarte flambée (with oyster mushrooms), excellent game dishes (venison shank, venison stew), and of course, their generous desserts. Yes, because in the family there's a good hunter, a good butcher, and of course, a very good cook. Thank you all! Of course, given this great place... Sometimes the service is a little slow... But we don't just go there to eat, but for the lovely atmosphere... for example, right now they have Halloween decorations 🎃. And lastly, you can leave with local apples or their homemade sausage... Me, I'm having the venison... See you soon... Perfect

Excellent evening! It had been years since my last visit. The venison medallion and venison stew (suggestions) were a pure delight and very generous portions, although more expensive than other dishes due to the quality and rarity of the meat. Absolutely no regrets! Exquisitely flavorful! Magnificent service from "Cass," who was incredibly kind 🙏 Top-notch team and setting! We will definitely be back very soon! Thank you!

The service was appalling. We ordered a salad without eggs, but it had eggs in it. We wanted a Coke, and when it was served, the waiter announced it wasn't a zero. Our drinks arrived well after our meal, and as for desserts, they never came. We had at least five different, overwhelmed servers during this evening, which was our first time dining out. We drove for over an hour, but it wasn't worth the trip. We did, however, enjoy our meal.

Friendly welcome and quick service, but the food was too salty. It's the first time in my life I haven't finished a pork knuckle. The cook must have dropped the salt shaker in the dish.

Great place and great setting, we've been twice. The portions are very generous. The young woman who served us on Friday, August 29th was very friendly and helpful. 3 stars, why? The bartender constantly complains. She works with gloves, but they're useless. She goes down to the cellar with her gloves on to get bottles, then plunges her gloved hands into the ice bin to get ice and ice cubes for our glasses. A young waitress came to help her and was rudely dismissed. She was told she should be serving hot food. The way she spoke in front of customers is unacceptable. Especially since many customers were waiting for their drink orders. So there you have it. If you go, ask for a table away from the bar so you don't experience any unpleasantness.
