Superb location, excellent one-hour walk 👍 with explanations about the marshes, fauna, and flora. Our guide, "Quentin," was very pleasant.

You can park your campervan in a shaded car park. And reserve a rowboat or canoe, and stay cool in the marshes.

Excellent! This morning we took the 1-hour guided tour. The place is magnificent, the explanations excellent, the fire demonstration incredible, and the crossbred cows absolutely beautiful. We also saw dragonflies, a coypu's rear end ^^, storks and their nest... We were lucky enough to only encounter one other boat (thanks to the dock for not canceling the tour since there were only two of us). And finally, a huge thank you to Gawen, who is absolutely passionate! As I told him, he has an answer for everything :)

As a regular visitor to the Marais Poitevin, I'm disappointed. Having taken this trip every year with family or friends, I've always enjoyed fascinating and informative excursions. Unfortunately, this is the second year in a row that I've booked from the Cardinaud landing stage, and the experience is the same: the tour is sorely lacking in substance. The guides do the bare minimum, leaving far too many silences. It's a real shame, because the marsh is brimming with stories and secrets to share. The iconic term "pigouille" wasn't even mentioned! Furthermore, the fire-making demonstration on the water was very laborious. This is the second time I've left disappointed; I'll be choosing a different landing stage next year.

A warm welcome at the dock and very clear explanations regarding the chosen boat trip and the schedule. And what can we say about the boat trip itself? It was fantastic... with a very peaceful atmosphere, early in the morning. Many thanks again to the boatman for providing us with so much interesting information about life in the marsh. We highly recommend it.
