The setting is nice despite being close to the road. But it's a shame because the staff, and the woman we assume to be the owner, don't really have a sense of customer service. All the staff looked glum, and the woman we assumed to be the owner was very unfriendly, with a stern look and a rather aggressive manner of speaking (she's surely responsible for the general mood of the employees). We ordered a Coke, a lemonade, and a beer, with a waffle each, as well as a glass of water and a bowl of water for our dog (a request that clearly bothered them). There were no ice cubes in the Coke or lemonade, and the beer was lukewarm. The glass of water and the dog bowl were forgotten. The waffles were quite good but a bit expensive for what they were: €7.60 for a whipped cream/chocolate waffle...

Perfect, I recommend it, fast service

We had a wonderful time. We felt like we were in a completely different world, yet also like we were visiting friends. The food was sophisticated and delicious. Kudos to the whole team who seemed genuinely happy to welcome us, serve us, and were so friendly. Thank you again!

Good quality meal at a reasonable price. It's a shame we had to wait so long for dessert. The waitresses and waiter were courteous and pleasant. The outdoor terrace is really nice. They just need a discount for boat rentals ;-)

Everything was very good and the welcome was pleasant. It's a shame, however, that the service was so slow: two hours to eat is really excessive. There's clearly a major organizational problem with the service. It's a pity, because the quality of the food is excellent.

I recommend this pleasant stop after the guided tour of the Marais Poitevin. The staff are lovely and the food is very good.
