A warm and friendly place. Top-notch team! New owner, but it's still the same. I've been a daily customer for years; without a doubt, the best coffee in Mulhouse.

The atmosphere on the terrace and in the mezzanine is great. It's nice to go there to work because there are sofas and outlets, and the mezzanine is protected to be a quieter place. However, the food is way too expensive for what it's worth, and the service is deplorable. The day after a cocktail with some friends, the waiter didn't recognize me, and I overheard him saying that the day before, he'd told my girlfriend she'd changed her glass of wine, even though he'd offered the same one again. Gossiping at the bar is always a bad idea.

Passing through Mulhouse, we were craving breakfast at 1 p.m., which isn't easy to find. This restaurant offers brunch all day long. The food is high quality and plentiful.

A warm welcome and impeccable service, always with a smile: flawless. The menu is varied and complemented by daily specials; the dishes are delicious, generous, and beautifully presented. The pleasant and friendly terrace adds to the pleasure of the experience. Engel's Coffee is undoubtedly a must-visit in downtown Mulhouse, whether for a meal, a gourmet break, or simply a coffee—excellent, by the way!

27/12/2025: It's become the go-to place when you want to have a good night out
20/12/2025: Good atmosphere, good cocktails, and nice music. Most of the servers are professional and pleasant. However, one server in particular (with a beard) was persistent in demanding a free drink. After a clear refusal, the service became distant, to the point where I had to order from the bar. It's a shame, because this behavior really clashes with the rest of the team.
