A great stopover on the way home from Spain. We had a truly delicious meal in the cozy hotel restaurant. The food was excellent, we sat next to a crackling fire, and the service was superb! Highly recommended!

The hotel is perfectly located for a roadside stop, just minutes from the motorway but in a charming and peaceful village at this time of year. We particularly appreciated the warm atmosphere and the friendly, professional welcome. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. My only minor criticism concerns the soundproofing between the rooms.

Very friendly staff, so welcoming and helpful, character building in centre of small town , easy to access from motorway, lovely evening meal and early breakfast, ample parking, had dog with us and nice riverside walk or forest walks , a great hotel we shall be back next year
