We'd been wanting to try it for a while, and we finally did today.
What can I say except that the welcome was incredibly warm and friendly? Both the owner and the waitress were very kind, smiling, and welcoming.
The food was delicious! We ordered the small steak frites, and we each had two butcher's cuts and tripe—everything was fantastic! The tripe was exceptional. The desserts were also delicious, and all at an unbeatable price. We highly recommend this bistro.
Passing by on a Wednesday at lunchtime, I had a superb discovery: excellent cuisine made with top-quality ingredients, all served by a smiling and attentive waitress.
In short, avoid the big restaurant chains because there are little gems like La Charrue in the villages 😉
