We received a very warm welcome from Madame Marie and her infectious smile! We had a wonderful time at this little café. Everything was perfect: the welcome, the service, the delicious food, the decor, and the atmosphere. The placemats and activities brought back childhood memories—it was so much fun! In short, I give it a 10/10, with top marks :-)

Looking for a restaurant for a truly great time? Head to the Phalempin school, a unique and unusual place. Step into a setting that's 100% school-themed, and enjoy a top-notch welcome from the super friendly staff. The regional cuisine features excellent, homemade, and fresh products—no preservatives here! Kudos to all the staff. The meal was superb, and we finished it off with a sweet treat: a "marvelous" that lived up to its name. It was excellent, but far too generous (we couldn't finish it, so a doggy bag was definitely in order). For those who haven't been, go without hesitation, but be sure to book ahead.

A friendly place, good local cuisine, excellent fries, a warm and attentive welcome and service, and reasonable prices. The dishes offered are a departure from the usual fare found in traditional pubs.

Thank you for this wonderful family birthday celebration! The atmosphere was like a school, filled with kindness. The meals were plentiful and of excellent quality. We will gladly return and highly recommend it.

A great place to enjoy regional dishes. Parking is available on the street or in the town square. The service is attentive and warm. This traditional Flemish tavern is perfect for business meetings with quick and efficient service, or for families where you can take your time.

I've been several times and believe me, it's worth the trip and I've never been disappointed. The team is top-notch: the kitchen staff, the waitresses, and the bartender. Honestly, it's like going back to school, with old photos, books on the shelves, and placemats ready for homework. If I have one piece of advice, go for it! You'll feel like you're back in school, and it's definitely worth the visit. A big thank you to the team!
