In a beautiful natural setting surrounded by Heron Lake, we discovered a small amateur theatre group and had a wonderful time in their company. The only problem is that it's very difficult to get there and very poorly signposted. Furthermore, the GPS sends you down a small dead-end road lined with houses. I think the Villeneuve-Neuve-d'Ascq town hall should review the signage and clearly indicate the route to follow, as there are practically no road signs...

After your walk around the lake, relax at Quanta. We love their crepes and can't wait to try their waffles! A must-visit spot, surrounded by nature!

After visiting the Kandinsky exhibition at the Lam, we took the path to the Quanta open-air café through the Heron Park where I took my pencils 🖍️ and sketchbook 🗒️ a lovely moment!

Everything was perfect: the service (thank you Raphael), the location (a lovely bistro with the option of eating outside in the courtyard or inside on a beautiful veranda), and the meal (excellent value for money). We will be back.

25/05/2026: Incredible restaurant!!! From the welcome to the food. Succulent dishes, the gentleman who greeted us was exceptionally kind and a wonderful host. Honestly, I highly recommend it.

I must emphasize the exceptional kindness and thoughtfulness of the manager, which is rare these days! It makes all the difference! I highly recommend it. I wish you all the best.
