Great place we go to with the children who are always delighted.

We were passing through and stopped for breakfast. The waiter who served us was very friendly, made an effort to speak to us in Spanish, and the service was very quick. Perfect location.

A little treat for Mother's Day. We loved it. The cheesecake with its pistachio coulis...to die for...the golden latte, the smoothie, the macarons...the team is young and friendly. Thank you for this lovely time. ❤️

But today at Étienne Coffee Shop in Castres, two staff members changed everything. Timothy. Darance. These two reminded us what true customer service actually means. Not just serving coffee. Serving people. They welcomed us with sincerity. They listened carefully. They paid attention. They made us feel valued. That changes a customer’s entire day. Even when coffee or food is not perfect, exceptional service can still make people return again and again. Because great service does not come from a manual. It comes from values. Character. Integrity. How someone treats people at work, at home, and in the community. As visitors from Clermont-Ferrand connected with ASM Rugby culture, we often come to Castres to relax, spend time with family, and enjoy moments together over coffee and hot chocolate. And honestly? I had started losing interest in coming back to Étienne because previous experiences felt cold and disconnected. But Timothy and Darance restored hope in this place. They set the standard. Managers should pay attention to workers like this. Reward them. Acknowledge them. Make their example visible to the whole team. The location is hard to beat too: right beside the square, hotels, bars, banks, and the center of city life. Last time I visited, we waited a little longer than expected — over 15 minutes for coffee because of the number of orders coming through. But honestly, once seated, it was still a great place to relax and enjoy the moment. Their variety of cakes and desserts makes it even better. A perfect spot to sit with family or friends, enjoy coffee slowly, and take in the atmosphere of Castres. Reasonably priced. Beautiful setting. Good energy. A café made for enjoying time, not rushing through it. ☕️

Calm and friendly atmosphere, impeccable service

A café that serves everything and is always packed. You can even buy coffee beans in large bags and bubble tea. Very good, fast service and reasonable prices.
