Very pleasant welcome. Very quiet restaurant. Excellent food. Very clean restrooms. Top-notch and friendly staff. Very quiet parking. I highly recommend it.

I always find it hard to leave a negative review because I know the restaurant business is thankless... But this time, I have to admit I'm very ambivalent. The service was good, no complaints there. The real problem is the food. I only ordered one dish and a coffee, and what a disappointment! A tiny portion of chicken leg, a few tasteless fries. Luckily, the coffee made up for it. I feel sorry for the staff, but it's not worth the price. I still remember the old truck drivers, who used to tell me, "Eat, you never know who'll eat you tomorrow..." The only advantage for truckers is that it's open 24/7 and you can take a shower...

Good central routier Very quiet and safe

This review is only about the washing machines, as the rest has already been covered. As of April 5, 2026, the washing machine is still doing a relatively poor job, but the drying cycle is still not dry. I even cleaned the mesh filters after the first attempt, but it still doesn't dry well. I also decided to add a note about the walking area; see photos and videos.

Normal parking, shower, toilet free, 90 euros for 60 hours

Always a pleasure to go there... The meat is very good despite the radio chatter, and the atmosphere is great. If I have a need to use the restroom, want a drink, or get hungry again at any time of day or especially night, there's no hassle of having to wait for it to open at 5 am; it's open 24/7... the only closures are Christmas and New Year's Day.

This establishment is impeccably clean, the welcome is warm, and the coffee, at only €1, is cheaper than in Spain. Open 24/7, I highly recommend it to anyone passing through or from La Souterraine.
