I'd been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time. It exceeded my expectations... Warm, delicious, and a great experience with a manager who took the time to explain one of the menus to us... We'll be back at the first opportunity!

Decided to opt for a little taste of home, while abroad, influenced by the raving reviews of this restaurant. The place is quite small and simple but the warm welcome of the staff and the friendliness of the service made up for it. As for the food, we, unfortunately, found it underwhelming. The fish was a little overcooked and the gigantes very plain. The desserts were better but still nothing special.

The lunch menu was very good, but the extra charge for four small slices of sausage was a bit stingy! The red wine was excellent.

Evi Evane is Greek cuisine at its best! Forget about Partenón backdrops, tzatziki and Greek salad. The decoration is simple and cosy. Each plate is made with care and the best ingredients. As soon as we sat we were offered an amuse buche of psarosoupa (fish soup) which was delicious and exactly what we needed in a rainy cold evening. The starters were yummy and the main courses were what you’d have in a Greek home in a Sunday. Our server Ibrahim was friendly and efficient. The Dafnios red wine by Douloufakis winery was a perfect much with the meatballs and the stifado. At the end we were also treated to a shot of Tsipouro, which was the perfect way to end the evening. Bravó!
