Experimental Cocktail Club sur Paris

Broadly speaking, cocktail culture in Europe lags behind the U.S. (we live in NYC), so it tracks that our previous trips to Paris yielded mediocre experiences. Well, things have progressed quickly since only a couple summers ago. Historically the cocktails have been overtly sweet, no doubt catering to the local Parisian palate. D'accord! Experimental has birthed an oasis for cocktail novices and aficionados alike. The signature cocktails are thoughtful, inventive, and most importantly balanced. All the classiques are available as well. Martinis - as simple as the ingredients are - are highly personal and easily misunderstood by those who do not imbibe in them. We were delighted to find that Experimental crafts the most brilliant classic martinis, and breathes new life into them with some new rifts of their own. The music is also top-notch for the vibe check. Take a stroll after dinner and treat yourself to a très excellente nightcap! 🍸

Friendly service and inventive cocktails

Such a cool place with really interesting drinks. Everyone was so kind from the DJ to the bartenders to the security out front. It looks very artsy and exclusive but was surprisingly welcoming for a solo traveler.

This little bar is hidden away and has a great atmosphere. The drinks are delicious and the owner is generous. Although the signal is weak, it's perfect for chatting. Every time I come here, it feels like discovering a treasure!

If you’re looking for one of the best cocktail experiences in Paris, Cocktail Experiment is an absolute must. A huge thank you to Guillaume, whose hospitality was second to none. He welcomed us like old friends and patiently answered what must have been a million questions with genuine enthusiasm. His knowledge of spirits, cocktails, ingredients, flavour pairings and techniques is nothing short of outstanding. You can tell Guillaume is incredibly passionate about his craft, and that passion makes the entire experience so much more enjoyable. Every recommendation was spot on, and we walked away having learnt so much while enjoying some of the best cocktails we’ve ever had. Exceptional drinks, exceptional service, and an unforgettable experience. Guillaume is a true asset to Cocktail Experiment, and we’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Paris. Highly recommended!

Tasty cocktails, great vibes, amazing team I came here on a recommendation from a bartender at the restaurant where I had dinner earlier and I'm so glad I did. They have a DJ on Saturdays, and the crowd was mostly French, which I took as a good sign. The drinks are outstanding. They make the best dirty vodka martini I've ever had, and their signature spicy margarita is a must. Prices are very reasonable considering the thought and effort that clearly goes into the menu. I appreciated feeling safe throughout the evening; they have a bouncer at the door, and he turned out to be incredibly kind once you start talking to him. Last but not least - I want to give a shoutout to Solenn. She made my evening ten times better. So polite, warm, and passionate about what she is doing. I actually saw her again a few days later when she wasn't working, and she greeted me like we'd known each other for years. That kind of genuine hospitality stays with you.

As a certified margarita expert and lover. who’s had them in all different shapes and sizes, can personally attest to the quality of cocktails that Yasmeen is making! Literally out of this world ! I came with a group of loud friends and he took such good care of us, making sure we had a glass of water in between rounds was that extra thoughtful touch !!! Can’t wait to go back 1000 out of of 10

All positive: the place has a lot of charm with its exposed beams and stone walls, the music volume is perfectly balanced, the service is friendly, and above all the cocktails are exceptional.
