Fabioli sur Fontaines-Sur-Saone

We had a very pleasant evening. The pizzas were varied and delicious. There was a slight hiccup when we arrived, but the staff reacted well and it didn't spoil our evening. A sure bet!

Good pizzas... lots of choices... and if you don't like pizza... you just have to choose from the many delicious dishes.

Very good and friendly atmosphere. I've been going there for years, it's great. But it gets very noisy on busy evenings.

I've known this restaurant for a long time, since its old location. I ate there recently. I was cold. The pizzas were either cold or not hot enough considering how chilly the room was. It was 18 degrees Celsius or less. Winter has arrived early. We were seated near the window facing the parking lot. Is this a restaurant you should avoid in winter? I don't know, but we were cold. Should they serve the pizzas on piping hot plates to prevent this? I don't know. I'll let you figure that out. Nevertheless, the pizzas are absolutely delicious. The profiteroles weren't made with fresh dough. In other words, the pastry filled with ice cream and hot chocolate, which wasn't hot (I ordered it because I was cold), was a bit stale. You can tell; there's no crispness. Should they make less dough but more often? I'll let you figure that out.

I had to wait fifteen minutes to pay because there were 25 people at the till paying for the same item. Unbelievable!

Welcoming place. Shaded terrace in summer. Very good pizzas to eat in or take away.
