Family Kitchen sur Grenoble

22/06/2026: A wonderful discovery at Istane Pizza, located at 30 rue Docteur Calmette in Grenoble. This pizzeria offers a wide selection of takeaway pizzas, both with tomato sauce and crème fraîche. The dough is excellent, well-made, and homemade, which makes all the difference, and the toppings are generous. I also want to highlight the originality of some of their signature creations, such as the Alla Burrata, Ave César, and Nathalie pizzas. This time, I decided to venture off the beaten path by trying the Georgian specialties offered by the owner and chef, who is originally from Georgia. I tasted the Adjarouli and the Koubdari, and I can assure you they were a real treat. I absolutely don't regret my decision not to order a classic pizza in order to discover these typical specialties. For cheese lovers, the Adjarouli is a must-try. For meat lovers, the Koubdari is simply excellent. I highly recommend trying these Georgian specialties, as they are unique to Grenoble. Furthermore, Georgian restaurants are still relatively rare in France, making this discovery all the more interesting. A very warm welcome.
