A real surprise! While passing through to see the Lego exhibition, we stopped at this brasserie. I tasted my family's dishes, and we thoroughly enjoyed them. My husband had the marinated kebab: a real treat. My son had the Texan platter, with flavorful meat, and I had the homemade fish and chips with a very good homemade tartar sauce. Luckily, I didn't check the bill before eating because the 3.9/5 rating is undeserved. I'd say it deserves a 4.5/5. Just to clarify, we ate in the brasserie section, not the takeaway chip shop.

We celebrated my grandson's 8th birthday with his brothers, aged 6 and 2. The children were warmly welcomed and looked after throughout the meal. The children's menus are generous and offer plenty of choices! And speaking of the adults... we enjoyed our meals, which were delicious, hearty, and beautifully presented. You can tell that all the staff want to make their customers happy. I highly recommend this restaurant, which may not look like much from the outside, but is very welcoming inside. Go check it out, you won't regret it! 💚

I ordered a vegetarian sandwich for €11, and unfortunately discovered it contained ham. As a vegetarian, this is a really disappointing mistake, especially at that price. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I sincerely hope that more attention will be paid to order preparation in the future, especially for dishes with dietary restrictions. Unfortunately, I had to throw the food away because I don't eat meat and my husband only eats halal… Unfortunately, I won't be going back.

A truly excellent evening for a family birthday celebration spanning three generations! Special mention to Greg for his warm welcome and his perfectly tailored humor – a real knack for connecting with everyone! The room was spacious, modern, beautifully decorated, and very inviting. In short, we laughed a lot and ate very well! The homemade desserts were delicious. The kitchen staff were also very friendly. THANK YOU ALL

Rediscovering this place which has changed a lot since the years we knew it: a neat setting, very good food and a 5* welcome from our server (Greg) whom we have known for a long time and who has lost none of his customer service. We will definitely be back!

29/08/2024: Fine, tasty, colorful and surprising cuisine. Impeccable service with attentive staff. The dishes are elegant, beautifully crafted, colorful and full of surprises. The mixture of textures and bouquets of flavors intertwine successfully.... It's flawless for this magnificent moment in this restaurant. They should leave Lambersart in a few months and that is a shame. In any case, go for it! Gastronomy is perfectly embodied there!

03/07/2025: A beautiful establishment where we received a very warm welcome. The dining room is superb, with the tables spaced apart for the comfort of the guests. According to the menu, there appears to be a three-course menu offering good value, but we opted for the à la carte options. We were glad we did, as our meal was of high quality. Chef Stéphane Lefèvre's cuisine is generous, featuring a fine selection of fresh, carefully selected local produce. For example, my crispy sweetbreads were simply sublime and refined, or the duck breast in a fresh herb crust, which I had to finish off my wife's plate, was perfectly cooked and succulent. I just tried the three-course menu, and it's simply the best value for money in the area. The food was tasty and generous. A pure delight.
23/06/2025: We celebrated our wedding at La Cense and it was absolutely magical. The venue is splendid, elegant, and welcoming, perfect for an unforgettable day. The team was remarkable: caring, professional, and attentive to every detail. The cuisine was of the highest quality, refined and creative, served with impeccable service. Our guests were delighted! A big thank you to Stéphane, who surrounded himself with a team as competent as they were passionate. If you're looking for an exceptional venue with rare quality, go for it with your eyes closed.
