Very pleasant terrace, very friendly welcome and good food

In this pleasant setting, we allowed ourselves to dream and asked for a quote to organize a birthday party. The welcome was adequate, as was the quote... We hadn't heard only praise for this establishment, and before deciding, we wanted to try it out! We came with friends and opted for fondue for some and frogs' legs for others. The fondue, while not very generous, was good. As for the frogs' legs... deplorable: the dish had clearly been reheated in the microwave or some other inappropriate way... some were burnt but hidden and rather tasteless. To top it all off... the accompanying fries were soggy and dark brown, probably cooked and reheated. For dessert, the ice cream was nothing special for the exorbitant price. We mentioned these problems to the waiter, who didn't seem concerned... suggesting we speak to the manager. The manager was behind his till and didn't react, or rather, he said he had nothing to do ("Oh, really...") and turned on his heel to do something else. No goodwill gesture was offered. In conclusion, we did not proceed with the quote and warn future consumers of frogs...

Everything was perfect as usual: the welcome, the setting (on the terrace with the sun...!) and the meal of course.

The setting and the restaurant are truly delightful. Personally, I loved the retro-style terrace, which is part of its charm; it feels a bit like being in Provence 🌳. The dishes are very good and homemade, with a wide selection that also caters to vegetarians. The opening hours are generous, which is very convenient. I celebrated my birthday there and I was thrilled. Yes, I recommend trying it...

Lunch on Saturday. I did not reserve a table, but there were plenty available on the terrace for one person at noon. The terrace is really the selling point of this restaurant; it has a definite south of France vibe. The waitress was very friendly and I was served without delay. I had the the trout carpaccio at 22 Eur, which is a bit high for the quantity of food, but not unreasonable for the weekend. It is a lively place; there were families and large groups. Not really a place for a quiet meal, but it could be fun.

It's always a pleasure to come (3rd time) and I really enjoy it. The value for money is excellent; they work with good products. The terrace in summer is a real bonus. So lovely, you can escape for a moment. We absolutely must keep up this good mood. Thank you.
