Beautiful, typical farmhouse with pleasant people to chat with and ideal campervan pitches for a peaceful night's sleep.

When I leave France after bikepacking for three months what will I remember most? It'll be the conversations I had with interesting people in interesting places. I will remember the farmers who farmed this farm for thirty years, who personally cooked and served us dinner in their farmhouse and told us their story. It will not be the the many campgrounds that, after awhile, all morph into each other in my memory because they are so simillar I can't distinguish one from the other. If you want a rare and authentic marshland farm experience, I recommend this place to you. If you want something corporate and polished I don't recommend it.

Inn on our Velodyssee route: we camped in the field, it was peaceful, the facilities were working for a shower and a quick wash, and then we were off again. The two owners and Tobby the dog were incredibly welcoming. Highly recommended! ☀️
