Nice market with a good variety of food. Lulu's creperie is excellent and highly recommended; it's well-deserved. But don't even think about going to Pampita, which is right on the left as you enter. It's ridiculously expensive—a Pampita costs 20 euros and leaves you hungry because it's so small. They even served us fries with leftover bits of other fries, so we had to tell them off. A soft drink was 6 euros. Not recommended at all; there are much better options.

We were there Friday evening, around 7:30 pm. Almost everything was closed. A shame, so we went somewhere else to eat.

A great spot to visit and grab something, it’s a hotspot for sure, but you’ll also spot plenty of locals grabbing a meal which is always a good sign! Plenty of options to choose from. The ventilation isn’t great though, and during tourist season, which in Paris is basically always, right? 👀 expect it to get pretty crowded!

Mister Döner Châtelet-Les Halles

19/08/2026: A wonderful time spent with the family. The main course and dessert were both excellent and high quality! I would have liked a slightly larger portion of the linguine, but it was still very good.
18/08/2026: What a delightful surprise this restaurant was! We stumbled upon it by chance and were pleasantly surprised. We tried the tapas and they were delicious (gravlax, hummus, shrimp, fried cheese, etc.). The service was excellent, even though we arrived during peak hours without a reservation. Kudos to the whole team! We truly enjoyed this little escape from the everyday at your establishment. We will gladly return on our next trip to Normandy.
