Ferme des Alpes sur Sciez

We came in May, just before their holidays, so there were far fewer people, which gave us time to admire all the ancient artifacts the restaurant is full of. We were on the covered terrace, which allowed us to enjoy the cool evening air. This restaurant is a gem in terms of its decor, and that's partly why we came. For the set menu, we had the perch, a €36 menu (you'll always find perch at this price in almost any restaurant). It was really very good (too little). The ice cream for dessert was really disappointing for the price. In an establishment like this, I would have liked to have real napkins and not paper ones. As for the service, since the restaurant was far from full, everything was quick and smooth, and the servers were friendly. We'll come back in May. I can't seem to attach my photos; I'll do it on TripAdvisor.

Very good food at reasonable prices. It's a shame the service is so slow when taking orders.

Beautiful setting, chalet with vintage decor, excellent Savoyard fondue, quick and efficient. We highly recommend it.

In a mountain setting filled with antique objects, a pleasant atmosphere perfectly complements the food... we tried the berthou (a type of fish stew), perch fillet, and the hamburger... for lunch. All three of us were very happy with the dishes, which were tasty and flavorful. A great place with a very friendly welcome and quick service.

A quick stop on the road for a coffee – a lovely place with a beautiful interior. The sofas were so comfortable, you could easily spend the whole day there. A stop we didn't regret, unlike our departure.

J’ai découvert dans un repas d’anniversaire lors d’une invitation, la ferme des Alpes, Un superbe décor,(Voir les photos). Nous avons été très bien accueilli par le patron, Le repas fut sensationnel, des filets de perche du lac , Du jour. Des frites faites maison, quant à la salade superbe bien assaisonnée. Les desserts était très bon et fait maison. Je recommande ce restaurant, nous reviendrons. Bien cordialement. Stéphane PS : nous avons eu un très bon accueil de la part du patron et de la patronne. Les filets de perche étaient succulent, les frites aussi. Ainsi que le nougat glacé avec des noix de Pécamp, et cacahouète avec de la chantilly, le dessert était un océan de douceur. Perfect! The Berthoud is very good, generous portions, pleasant service

The quality of the food has dropped considerably, especially the fondue (lumps and strong cornflour taste), which is a shame because it's not the restaurant we used to know.

A superb discovery! Everything was excellent: from the food (the cheeses and charcuterie were superb) to the service. Flawless!
