Figue & Olive sur Paris

Found this gem across from our hotel. Everything was superb.

Excellent restaurant, the food was superb and the service impeccable. The atmosphere was very friendly and we will definitely return.

I discovered Figue & Olive during Ramadan, at the time of breaking the fast, and it was a delightful surprise. From the moment you arrive, you're warmly welcomed by the owners, and you immediately feel at ease. The atmosphere is perfect: Tunisian music plays in the background, featuring tunes by Zied Gharsa and Lotfi Bochnak. The decor is vibrant and full of nods to Tunisian culture: multicolored ceramics, paintings evoking olive oil and the felfel bar abid… everything reminds you of the country and gives the place a special soul. As for the food, you'll find authentic and generous flavors. The fish soup, nicely spiced, warms the heart like home. The salads are fresh, the brik with egg is perfectly cooked, the fricassé is delicious, and the pasta with stracciatella is simply divine. The service is fast, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, an address I recommend without hesitation, whether with family or friends, to enjoy tasty cuisine in an atmosphere that smells like Tunisia.

Amazing mediterranean food, good quality products and the most welcoming chef. Glad to have stumbled across this gem during a walk in the neighbourhood. You must try the bricks, the pasta and the meatball dish.

Prices have increased dramatically in a year: €29 for a plate of pasta with a lot of pasta, very little topping, and a spoonful of Parmesan cheese—nothing more! There was nobody there, but I think at that price there will be even fewer customers.
