Wonderful gastronomic experience! Inventive and surprising cuisine mastered to perfection throughout the dinner; a strong and unique culinary identity that emerges from each plate. A warm welcome and quality service! Regulars of starred restaurants, this one stands out greatly for the soul of the chefs.
My wife and I visited the restaurant on our marriage anniversary. The food was great and really deserve 2 stars. Also there a few interesting options for French wine. The place is a bit small but cozy. Service was at a good level, everyone was kind and friendly. We even got an extra desert as a gift for our anniversary. Overall we both are happy about the choice. The only negative side is that the food service is quite slow, we weren't experience a 6-course menu to be served within 4 and a half hours which is usually the time it takes to serve 9 courses
A Michelin two star restaurant on Rue Gubernatis in Nice is well worth the high price and the 4 hour dinner! The meal is over $300 per person with the wine pairings and long meal was perhaps a little tedious but fun. There were only 14 of us in the restaurant at 6 tables with only one wait person who was extremely knowledgeable and took time to describe everything you were eating and drinking - very helpful. I can’t begin to describe all the various courses we had but have included a photo of the menu in the accompanying photos. The food was beautifully presented and equally delicious!
Situato vicino a Rue Pastorelli a Nizza, il Flaveur è tappa obbligata per chiunque voglia provare una cucina francese ricercata e di alto livello.
Il locale è pulito, piccolo e accogliente, avente delle decorazioni in legno che addobbando tutte le pareti e che ricordano il mare.
I piatti proposti (abbiamo scelto un menu degustazione da 9 portate) sono semplicemente sensazionali, buonissimi e ricercati sia nelle preparazioni che nelle materie prime. Essi si occupano di raccontare il territorio francese attraverso i loro sapori. Degni di nota sono la zuppa con il pescato del giorno e il risotto con calamari e caviale. Strepitosi.
Lo staff è stato cordiale, gentile e in grado di mettere a proprio agio il cliente.
L’unica pecca? Servizio troppo lento. Da velocizzare.
Spero che in futuro avremo modo di tornarci per gustare nuovamente una cena fantastica.
The food was very, very good. In particular, I liked the Asian influence.
BUT:
- In my opinion it’s a bit overpriced.
- The time management was very poor. The wait between courses was way too long. I got so annoyed that I had to ask to speed up things.
Unfortunately, the overall experience was - in my opinion - not Michelin-star-worthy at all :-(
