Flunch sur Vitrolles

The restaurant is beautifully renovated, but the customer service is a complete disaster. Try to use the queue on the left ;-) We waited 30 minutes (at 12:45 pm on a weekday) to pay... it's appalling! And then we realized that the young woman behind the till was also handling ice cream, desserts, and children's menus... In short, it's inconceivable to leave her staff to deal with just two people during the lunch rush... There's a real organizational problem in this restaurant, which is a shame because the place has other advantages (price, parking, newly renovated space, children's activities...). The staff on duty are incredibly brave to accept such poor customer service conditions (yes, in 30 minutes I had time to count: 50 covers served by two people in half an hour), it's not productivity, it's slavery! Manager and/or director of the establishment, you need to wake up and come help your staff during service! Or hire an extra employee... This Tuesday at lunchtime, you were conspicuously absent, and your teams received all the negative feedback from your customers instead!

We came to eat with my children on April 19th and received good service and a warm welcome, especially from the manager and a waitress, Inès, who was friendly and pleasant with my children and me. A good experience overall.

The food was good, the service average, the decor outdated.

Too expensive for what it is. The cashier was extremely haughty and unpleasant. The only positive point was the children's ride.

Friendly, fast, not bad, not too expensive

Frankly, I think some of the comments are a bit harsh on this restaurant. We mustn't forget the Flunch concept: simple, hot food at an affordable price. Today, you can still sit down comfortably and enjoy a hot meal, for example, pasta Bolognese for around €7.95, with a glass of water, for a very reasonable price. This type of place is becoming rare. Of course, the service can sometimes be a little slow, but we mustn't forget that payroll is very expensive these days, and it's difficult for restaurants to manage staff and schedules according to peak periods. Similarly, if you arrive a little late, the buffet might seem a bit empty. This is quite understandable given the volume of customers and the fact that staff adapt to the flow. In many cities, these restaurants are disappearing, leaving only snack bars, fast food outlets, or ready-made meals from supermarkets. I speak from experience: the one in Martigues, near where I live, closed, and you realize afterward how much you miss this kind of place. It's a shame, because Flunch is precisely the kind of place where you can eat a real, simple meal, sitting down, without breaking the bank. For me, the experience was decent and exactly what you expect from this chain: simple, convenient, and affordable. It's exactly the kind of popular restaurant that should be preserved.

The food was relatively good, the restaurant was well laid out, and fairly clean. One drawback was the very unpleasant woman who often got into arguments with customers (I saw it more than once and experienced it firsthand).

Zero stars. I arrived at 12:30 and ordered a steak with vegetables. Without waiting 40 minutes to cook the meat, there were no fries. I asked about it, and the cook had forgotten to put the fries in the fryer. For me, they weren't grilled enough; the small, large fries should have been two. Bad start.

We ate very well, we thoroughly enjoyed it, the staff were friendly, a special mention for the person who made the crepes, the brunette lady with glasses, who was very kind to us, absolutely fantastic! 👌

My children love eating at Flunch Vitrolles. We're regulars. It's always a real pleasure to eat there: the restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is friendly, and the staff is welcoming and professional. The dishes are varied, well-presented, and always served with a smile. A huge thank you especially to Soraya and Wissem. Their kindness, helpfulness, and good humor make all the difference. They are attentive, smiling, and really take the time to take good care of their customers. Their professionalism and positive energy make each visit even more enjoyable. If we remain loyal to this restaurant, it's clearly thanks to these two people in particular. Their warm welcome makes us want to come back every time. Thank you again for their excellent work! As for the food, the children's menu is great value for money, and there's plenty of choice for adults too! The play area is great too! See you soon!
