Very nice restaurant despite the reviews. The prices are fair for the dishes served. Very pleasant and smiling server. Don't always trust the Google review.

Far from being disappointed, we had a good evening thanks to a very kind waiter with a smile and very well served dishes. The St Pierre fillet and its accompaniments were excellent: fresh produce and perfect cooking for a reasonable addition for Aix en Provence. Being from the Var, we will come back without hesitation!

Family meal, everything went very well. The servers were smiling and attentive, the dishes were very good and plentiful. The children's menu is good and plentiful as well, the dessert was really generous. A very small downside: some places are not completely covered by the parasols which could be a little inconvenient.

Correct welcome, efficient service, no waiting between courses, the dishes are very correct and the daily menu main course + dessert at 18.90 is still in line with the price

Very warm welcome, dishes served quickly. Small downside on the dishes: the duck breast with raspberry sauce which was more of a puree and not a juice as one might expect.. Slightly bland mashed potato. Otherwise the beef tagine and desserts were OK.

Very nice waiter...but flirted with my husband😉🤣 Had menu...duck breast medium fried to perfection with raspberry sauce and ratatouille and fried sea bream fillet with rice and delicious tomato salad and ratatouille...as dessert a duet of tiramisu and creme brulee...all super tasty 😋 We'd love to come back

Attention les prix affichés sur la carte ne correspondent pas aux prix réels. Exemple: Café gourmand affiché à 8,50€, une fois la commande prise, on nous annonce une erreur ...prix réel 11,50€. Pas d'excuse .....Nous avons annulé la commande. Il y a d'autres restaurants sur la place des Cardeurs, avec sans doute plus de sens commercial, l'erreur sur la carte n'a pas été corrigée. Si vous voulez payer votre moelleux au chocolat 11,50€ au lieu de 8,50€ allez y....... !

Restaurant très correct Quelques mésentente entre les serveurs et un peu d attente mais nous avions le temps sur la place Cardeur et le soleil de Provence 🙂

Le Cardeur Bacchus

07/09/2024: Very pleasant place, due to its location on the Place des Cardeurs. Trendy decoration, and good products. On the other hand, it's impossible to get a hello from the waiters even if they came the day before... What a shame to push us not to come back!
23/08/2024: I find the comments very harsh! We had lunch one afternoon and we were welcomed with southern hospitality: not proutprout and very friendly. The menu is simple (which is often a sign of freshness) the dishes are very good: we ate a salmon tartare and thyme chicken with fries and mash, we enjoyed ourselves. The prices are correct for a restaurant in the heart of Aix and what we had on our plate.

30/08/2024: Bar tabac lotto PMU brasserie nice place nice terrace to have a quiet drink or eat a good salad..completely acceptable friendly staff.
30/07/2024: But yes, I ate well at the Champ de Mars. And I didn't expect it. I am delighted with this discovery!
