Four De Claudia sur Argenteuil

Claudia's Oven is the best pizzeria in Argenteuil. We've been coming here forever, whether for takeaway pizzas or to eat in on the terrace. It's a pleasure to eat such a good pizza. The staff are lovely and the setting is beautiful. We highly recommend it.

Ordered Pizza Paessana last night, February 21st, via Uber Eats. Fast delivery but the crust wasn't cooked evenly. Disappointed.

15 pizzas ordered, prepared in under an hour! In addition to express service, a very warm welcome and, above all, excellent pizzas!!!

After enjoying a delicious meal with a very friendly waitress, we encountered a major awkward situation at the till because they don't accept credit cards. We found ourselves facing the owner who, like a shrew with a booming voice, snapped at us as we were about to pay: "Oh no! We don't take credit cards here, it's checks, cash, PayPal only." Why not, but her attitude made us feel uncomfortable, as if we were somehow guilty, especially with the constant stream of takeout customers. The signage isn't very clear: the credit card symbol crossed out with a black X in front of the till and a small chalkboard hanging high up with "no credit cards" written by hand in white chalk aren't enough. I also find it unacceptable, even if it's within their rights, that we can't pay by credit card these days. After being shamefully forced to download PayPal, we fled forever... I understand the success of the takeaway service better now, because they certainly don't come for Claudia...
