Fourchette Et Tire-Bouchon sur Saint-Jean-De-Vedas

06/04/2026: I stayed at the Kyriad Direct in Montpellier, Saint Jean de Védas. I found it a bit too far from Montpellier; it takes a good 20 to 30 minutes to get there, depending on rush hour. There's a lot of traffic at the roundabout. The road is quite poor and full of potholes. The hotel is located next to a Première Classe. The reception area serves both hotels, Kyriad and Première Classe. The parking is fairly decent. The welcome was friendly but surprising. Once there, we were told we needed a €100 deposit. I think it's a bit much not to warn people in advance and take them by surprise. Once in the room, it was okay; there was some coffee and a kettle. It was clean and smelled nice. The bedding was adequate. However, the air conditioning wasn't working properly. I had to call the hotel twice to get my deposit back. And I don't like chasing people around. They're supposed to release it on the day of departure. I had to call the next day, and again two days later I had to call again, and this time my deposit was released. Overall, it's a hotel for emergencies, but it won't be the most pleasant stay.

12/03/2026: We stayed one night at the Kyriad Direct last week, and it was perfect. Our room was on the first floor facing the parking lot, no complaints. We tried again this week, but we stayed in a room on the second floor, garden side, which was very noisy. The bed was awful, the springs dug into our ribs… in short, we won't be repeating the experience, especially since I had requested a room on the first floor facing the parking lot, and I think there were some available… what a shame!
