A generous Christmas meal for €15.00: a warm, southwestern-style salad with a light and warm vinaigrette; a very tender turkey medallion with baked potatoes; and a delicious Yule log. Highly recommended, very friendly, and the chef's cuisine is excellent. See some of the dishes.

The price is very reasonable, the dorms are clean, and there's access to a kitchen and common areas. If you're a woman, you can sleep in a women-only dorm. The setting is pleasant, and it's about a 20-minute walk from the train station. The managers were friendly, and I had a great stay 😊

Le Beef Saloon

30/12/2025: We had a fantastic meal; we ordered the cheddar bowl and the flank steak. It was cooked rare, just the way we wanted it, and the meat was marinated and excellent—very tender. My husband also had a glass of very good red wine. The portions were quite generous, so we didn't have time to try the desserts, but we'll definitely be back! We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the menu selection.

27/01/2026: We had a lovely time at this restaurant. The meal was very good, well-prepared, and delicious. A big thank you also to the waiter, who was very pleasant, professional, and attentive throughout the service. However, we were very disappointed with the drinks: one of the drinks I was served was expired. When I pointed this out, the manager refused to replace it, claiming it was a "best before" date and not an expiration date. This attitude was very unprofessional and quite unpleasant. It's a shame, because with better customer service in this regard, the experience could have been excellent.
25/01/2026: Hello. Our waitress was very good, but her colleague, who was wearing a leather jacket to serve, seemed inappropriate to me. This person was at the register at the end of our meal. Also, I found it shocking that they used a wooden stirrer for the coffee; we're in a restaurant, not at a coffee machine. Finally, a glass of Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil was served chilled, and we were told that was normal, even though it should be served at least at room temperature. Anyway, the quality of the dishes, especially the mixed grill of fish and meat, was very good.
