Having been coming to this chip shop for many years, it's always just as good! I'm surprised by the 1-star reviews, which I find very harsh. The servers are very accommodating regarding how you like your fries cooked. The portions are incredibly generous, and the prices are very reasonable! I understand that bad experiences can happen, but these 1-star reviews seem really strange. And yes, we know that sometimes it can be busy and therefore there can be a wait (plot twist, it's like that everywhere...). I recommend it!

21/04/2026: I found the presentation of the dishes very average. The recipes are clearly very profitable, judging by the exorbitant prices. The portion of meat was small and sinewy, with no warm sauce. As for dessert: avoid the French toast (no pun intended)... it was the size of a tiny pancake, flat and topped only with whipped cream, and absolutely no ice cream, because at €8 or €9 it wouldn't be profitable anymore... Luckily, the waiter was fantastic, modest and honest (he didn't try to sell us a dream). But €70 for two people is a bit steep! Especially for that...

17/05/2026: What can I say...? We come here, we come back, we come back again... and again! No surprise, this pub is truly fantastic!!! Kudos also to your staff, all of whom are incredibly friendly!!!
15/05/2026: We received a very warm welcome from Madame Marie and her infectious smile! We had a wonderful time at this little café. Everything was perfect: the welcome, the service, the delicious food, the decor, and the atmosphere. The placemats and activities brought back childhood memories—it was so much fun! In short, I give it a 10/10, with top marks :-)
