A very pleasant and relaxing stay in a lovely setting. The services are exactly what one would expect from an establishment of this type. The rooms are tastefully decorated. I highly recommend it.

A beautiful, peaceful location with walking trails starting right from the hotel, so everything was perfect for us. We can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel in every respect. The staff were incredibly friendly, both at reception and in the various departments.

Beautiful place. Lovely room. Excellent restaurant. Very friendly staff. Only downside: the walls are very thin. We can hear everything that happens in the hotel corridors and vice versa.

A pleasant stay for this Easter weekend. The room was lovely and well-equipped. The breakfast was good. The only problem was a lack of hot water on the second day, which meant we couldn't shower in the morning.

This is our fourth stay as a family with a child at the Hôtel du Cap Hornu in Saint-Valery-sur-Somme. We've never been disappointed. The hotel is extremely well located, a little outside the town, with an incredible view of the Bay of Somme. The premium ground-floor rooms are comfortable and spacious. On the recommendation of the person at check-in, we booked dinner at the hotel restaurant. We were a little surprised because the menu offered absolutely no dishes suitable for children. From chicken stuffed with morels and cod with braised endive to an enormous beef fillet (220g!) with port sauce and scallops with artichokes, none of the dishes were kid-friendly, not even for the pickiest eaters. We then asked if it would be possible to at least replace the braised endive with the cod with rice or boiled potatoes, or even order a simple omelet. We were told that the chef didn't want to bother with such requests (sic!). At €55 per person for the set menu, this is hardly acceptable! We weren't necessarily asking for a children's menu of nuggets and fries, but at least simple dishes that all children would enjoy. This is all the more regrettable since the hotel specifically offers 3- or 4-person rooms for families and the grounds are particularly well-suited to children. So we left the restaurant and went back into town to Le Jardin, which offers original and refined dishes, far from the simple steak and fries, but adapted for children (for example, the traditional sausage and mashed potatoes reimagined as Morteau sausage and Aligot). It just goes to show that where there's a will, there's a way; it's not so complicated. We will be left with this somewhat disappointing experience which will make us think twice about where to book next time before returning to St Valery.

Hello. This was our third stay at this establishment. We found the staff as friendly as ever, the room clean, spacious, and comfortable, and thanks to the receptionist's suggestion, we were given a ground-floor room which allowed us to take our dog out for its needs through a door at the back of the room. The workshops we chose, led by competent and dedicated instructors, met our expectations. It was a shame, however, that they took place in a freezing cold room. As for breakfast, it was plentiful, varied, and truly high quality. We did, however, find the scrambled eggs neither creamy nor soft-set as they should have been. We were unfortunately disappointed with dinner, the quality of which did not match the establishment's setting; the choice was limited at each course between two basic options, which were frankly disappointing in terms of taste. In conclusion, the stay was pleasant, with the only downside being the evening meal.

Fantastic location with a stunning view over the Bay of Somme, a charming and relaxing setting and atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel; the breakfast and restaurant have a great menu.
